Tuesday morning was not only a beautiful morning for weather, but for this couple as well. It was so fun to spend the early morning hours with them and they are completely still in love after 8 years of marriage.

I have a logo issue. Finding a logo that suits me is just plain exhausting. I didn’t want images of any sort, just text. Here it is, finally. I love it and it’s sticking ; )

Jekyll Island Wedding Photographer

Here is a glimpse of the wedding I covered yesterday evening at “The Beachview Club” in Jekyll Island, Georgia. Lindsey & Daniel had a gorgeous wedding and were up for anything I wanted to do (even going into the Atlantic Ocean with their attire on). And check out her beautiful eyes. That is her natural eye color, no enhancing on my part. Congratulations and have a relaxing honeymoon in Rhode Island.

Savannah Photography-My Style of Photography

Posted on September 23, 2009

My style of photography is like photojournalism.

“Photojournalism is a particular form of journalism (the collecting, editing, and presenting of news material for publication or broadcast) that creates images in order to tell a news story. It is now usually understood to refer only to still images, but in some cases the term also refers to video used in broadcast journalism. Photojournalism is distinguished from other close branches of photography (such as documentary photography, street photography or celebrity photography) by the qualities of:

Timeliness — the images have meaning in the context of a recently published record of events.
Objectivity — the situation implied by the images is a fair and accurate representation of the events they depict in both content and tone.
Narrative — the images combine with other news elements to make facts relatable to the viewer or reader on a cultural level.”

I love being your shadow capturing all your candid moments and turning them into priceless photographs.

When it comes to the types of photography I cover, I like to capture moments from a little bit of everything. I do Wedding and Portrait Photography. “From Belly Bumps to Wedding Bliss & all that is in between”!

We have recently started a new project of opening up a studio and are excited for this new adventure.

Along with new, I have decided to add “Vintage PIN UP” photography to my portfolio, making it a main feature of my photography. We will be debuting our “Vintage PIN UP” style in October 2009 with a 40′s style vintage beach pin up shoot. Since I am an pregnant at the current moment, Pregnant Pin Up’s will also be on the menu. What better way to showcase your bump than with some sexy, yet classy photography?!

Babies, Children, Teenagers/Seniors, Family, Couples, Engagements, Weddings, Trash the Dress, Vintage PIN UP, & Events.

**I also work for a company doing their property photography & for a local magazine.**

Interested in a Beach “Pin Up” Girl Mini Shoot?

How did this idea come about? Well actually, it came from a friend, Carlin, last night. She was watching the Lifetime show Army Wives and seen the photo shoot on there. I don’t personally watch the show, but I seen the part she was talking about this afternoon online. The idea was adorable and the storyline behind the shoot for the ladies was classic. The show was doing a flashback with some army wives whose men were leaving for Normandy to fight in WWII. Coincidentally, my husband, Marty, went to Normandy to participate in various activities in the 65th Anniversary of D-Day in June. It further goes to mean something to me from an officer (a doctor) I met back in February, Mr. Bedford. He stormed Normandy that June day and came home 2 years later to his beautiful wife (who use to model for a top department store in Atlanta at the time). So with that said, if you are interested, please email me. Depending on the amount of ladies who show interest will factor if I do this shoot or not. There will be no session fee.
