For the last 7 days I have been bouncing around the East coast. From NYC and NJ, to Philly, to D.C., we’ve been super busy loving life. Here are a few shots of NYC. I am starting the process of sorting through our photos from the first half of vacation. The rest of the week we will be in Miami, then off to Hilton Head for a wedding.
Thanks for everything!

Memorial Day Weekend
Posted on May 31, 2010
Our Memorial Day went a little differently than planned. My husband’s dad came into town Friday morning so we decided to stay home. We hung out with him and stayed in Savannah. His dad left on Sunday, and we started to unwind from our 4 day weekend. On Monday, we shopped, had dinner in town, then bought some books for vacation. Vacation for us starts this week and we couldn’t be any more excited.

Savannah Photographer – Make A Wish Foundation
Posted on May 27, 2010
Here is the email I received from the Make A Wish Foundation (May 25th) on volunteering my time and services to their great charity. I look forward to working with them in the future for whatever event they need me for.
REWIND: How did I come to wanting to donate the class money to Make A Wish Foundation and not another charity? This was asked by my husband, then by my amazing friend Shauna K. I decided to give to Make A Wish simply because those kids won’t be around to see the cures come about. If I can give right now, and it go to a “wish” today, then I am helping out. Most of the “wishes” aren’t really that expensive. One little boy wanted to go to Ranger School. He did and received his Ranger Tab. Another little boy wanted to go to the NFL Draft. It’s the little things that I can easily help give to. Not only giving through monetary gifts, but volunteering my time and talent is the 2nd half of my giving back!

She is here. Meet Luna our 3 month old Golden Retriever who traveled from Miami yesterday to join our family.

A New Home
Posted on May 23, 2010
Meet our new (well soon to be ours) puppy! She is a 3 month old Golden Retriever. We aren’t sure on a name, but she’ll be arriving here in Savannah tomorrow around 11am. Exciting, yet scary. Why scary? (read below)

This is my Athena. My beautiful Athena. We got her when she was 8 weeks (2003) old from the Humane Society and she was my baby girl. On Christmas evening (2009), she passed away. We miss her so much. Without her here, the house isn’t the same. (read below)

And because she is gone, our 1st dog, Herc is alone and sad. He misses her oh so much. We’ve debated on a new dog for a while but with Reagan and Connor, it’s hard. Tonight we were offered a Golden Retriever and after serious decisions, we decided to give it a go. Hopefully Herc will grow to love her and will us. More to come.
